Beide Teams, die Frauen und die Männer sind vor heimischem Publikum aus dem WM-Medaillenrennen raus. Die Setterosa verlor 9:10 gegen Griechenland, die Settebello gegen Serbien mit 5:7. Das langt im besten Fall noch für Platz 9. Bitter.
